About Canine Hypothyroidism and Leventa®

Hypothyroidism is one of the endocrine disorders in dogs that can be quite challenging to diagnose but is easy to treat. Treatment of hypothyroidism is more likely to succeed if there is good compliance with the dosing regimen.

Leventa was developed to help veterinarians meet the needs of clients who want options — especially when administering medications for chronic conditions. The liquid formulation facilitates precise dosing and flexibility. All this adds up to optimal client compliance and positive treatment outcomes.

This web site is intended to help you and your client de-dramatize this disease and to educate your clients about hypothyroidism.

Please contact your local Intervet representative if you require additional information or if you can not find what you are looking for.
